Legal Manager
Ms. Sarab serves as LegalLiberty Company's Legal Manager and Head of the Legal Department. She is responsible for overseeing all legal operations, managing the Company's legal affairs, and supervising or following up on all legal procedures required both internally and on behalf of clients. Ms. Sarab is trilingual in Kurdish, Arabic, and English. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law and a Master's Degree in Politics and International Studies from the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH).
Legal & Contracting
Mr. Kawaar holds two Master's Degrees in International and European Law from universities in the Netherlands and Belgium. He is responsible for drafting and reviewing all English-language contracts on behalf of LegalLiberty Company. In addition, he serves as a legal consultant to high-level Clients, providing expertise in the drafting of commercial contracts and the preparation of tender documentation in line with international legal standards.
Legal Officer
Mr. Rami is a licensed lawyer and registered member of the Kurdistan Bar Association, with professional experience in commercial and operational legal matters. He is actively involved in the day-to-day delivery of legal services within the Company, supporting both internal operations and client engagements. Mr. Rami regularly follows up on legal procedures with government authorities and judicial bodies, ensuring that filings, approvals, and legal processes are handled efficiently. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in International Commercial Law at the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH). He previously obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the College of Law, Salahaddin University – Erbil. Mr. Rami is trilingual in Kurdish, English, and Arabic, enabling him to work effectively with regional and international partners and contractors.
Residency & Visa
Mr. Mustafa is a licensed legal consultant and practicing lawyer with extensive experience in commercial law, corporate advisory, and litigation. He graduated from the College of Law in 2011 and has been actively engaged in legal practice since then. Since 2019, he has formally served as a legal advisor, providing ongoing legal consultancy to multiple companies across various sectors, particularly in relation to commercial transactions, corporate governance, contracts, and regulatory compliance. He has been involved in approximately 250 court judgments issued by the Erbil courts, with a strong focus on commercial disputes and corporate litigation. Mr. Mustafa is officially appointed as a court-certified expert (expert witness) in commercial matters and trademark/logo disputes, preparing expert opinions and technical reports for the Erbil courts. With his combined experience in litigation, expert reporting, and long-term corporate advisory, Mr. Mustafa offers comprehensive legal support tailored to both judicial proceedings and business operations within the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Senior Legal Counsel
Mr. Rawand serves as Senior Legal Advisor, providing strategic legal counsel on complex commercial and corporate matters. His expertise includes litigation management, dispute resolution, negotiation of critical contracts, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation. Mr. Rawand is a registered member of the Kurdistan Bar Association and brings over fifteen (15) years of professional legal experience to his role.
Insurance & Tax
Mr. Rahel is responsible for ensuring that all employee insurance policies at LegalLiberty Company remain current and compliant. He also oversees the Company's tax matters, ensuring that all obligations are accurately calculated, filed, and cleared in a timely manner. With his extensive experience, Mr. Rahel provides advisory support on tax-related issues and efficiently manages insurance documentation in accordance with the specific needs of each client.
Investment & Real-Estate
Mr. Rawand serves as LegalLiberty Company's legal counsel for court proceedings, representing the Company in all judicial matters. He also possesses a strong understanding of the real estate investment market, particularly from a legal and regulatory perspective. Drawing on his extensive experience, Mr. Rawand provides comprehensive legal advice on all matters related to investment and real estate law.
